SurfScout is a new type of surf forecaster tailored specifically to you!

Give us some basic info about you and well give you personalised surf recommendations up to 4 days in advance. Awesome!

Gone are the days of forecasters telling everyone to head down to the same break because it’s 6 foot and pumping. Everyone is different, so why are we all given the same recommendations?

And no more having to wade through wave height, wind strength, swell direction, buoys, directional spectra and tides to work out the perfect conditions for each beach for yourself.

Instead, we take all of the headache out of the decision of where and when to surf so you can concentrate on the surfing itself.

WHY OUR APPROACH IS SO DIFFERENT…AND SO AWESOME!

We take a few personal details, mix in the spot info and conditions then give each break you want us to scout a score out of 100 (the SurfScout Score). It’s then ordered by day and time so you can quickly see where and when the best place and time FOR YOU to go for a surf is.

Beginners - we’ll keep you safe by sending you to breaks better suited to your skill
Intermediates - use our proprietary “Surfscout Score” to compare spots
Experienced - rest assured we’ll save the big, pumping swells for you and keep everyone else out of the way.

Oh yeah, those most likely to drop in on you…we’ve got them covered!

One simple screen shows you where and when your mates are planning on paddling out in the next few days. Let them know you’ll be coming too or show them another time you’ll be heading out.

Favourites: Select your favourite breaks and let us scout them for you 24x7.

Near me: Heading out of town and want to know the best spot to surf when you’re there? Happy to go for a drive in your home town? Set the distance from your location you want us to scout and we’ll get you the best place and time to head out.

Friends: Tell your friends where and when you’ll be heading out or check in to see where they’ll be.

Scout a break: Want to do your own scouting? Drill down to find a break and check the conditions yourself for the next few days.


WHERE DO WE SCOUT?

Right now we scout all of Australia and California as well as a handful of breaks in France. We’re adding breaks all the time so stay tuned if you’re looking for new spots (or even better, email us to let us know where youd like us to focus on next)
